Where the founder or CEO is still getting pulled in to save deals that should close without them. What your pipeline is actually telling you versus what you think it's telling you.
Client Success and Revenue Expansion
Not just retention. A proactive success program that spots revenue risk before it becomes churn, captures expansion opportunities before they go cold, and creates a feedback loop between sales, success, and marketing. Whether clients are set up to succeed or just set up to start. And whether your best clients are referring anyone, and if not, why not.

Partners and Referrals
Underoptimized partners is one of the most common leaks I find. Good vibes, no structure, no accountability, and no results. Partners in name only. Clients who love you and would refer you if anyone ever asked. A goldmine of relationships that aren't generating what they could because there's no system behind them.
Marketing's Impact on Revenue
Not traffic or impressions. Whether your content is actually helping deals close. Whether sales and marketing agree on what a good lead looks like and what happens to it. Whether you have a process to hand leads back to marketing when they're not ready, instead of letting them disappear. Whether your current clients know about the new things you offer. And whether your content is built for the buyer who's already done half their research before they talk to anyone.

If you're investing in events, you should be getting real ROI from them. Most companies show up with a booth, some giveaways, and hope. There's almost always room for more strategic pre-marketing, more intentional mid-show activity, and a tighter follow-up system that doesn't lose momentum the week after.
